OUR MISSION
To introduce South Africans to an entirely new and unique type of card to the usual boring cards we usually see. Cards that present quality and create excitement. Ensuring that every person with a Coza Card experiences something magical.
Our Company
We aim to provide a personal connection between people in artistic ways.
The word Coza represents South Africa, one of the most diverse countries in the world. In diversity, lies our greatest strength to work and share our lives together.
However, the world gets busier, and despite technologies great advantages, it also means that sometimes we are more disconnected.
We believe that providing a personal connection between people can be done through art. By providing something physical, we can once again engage all our senses. One that opens our imaginations, and adds a personal touch.
In Coza Cards, our mission is to create cards that allows us to share a unique message and experiences in new ways with each other.
HOW THE CARDS ARE MADE
Kirigami is a intricate technique used to turn the simplest 2D designs into the most beautiful 3D creation.
Kirigami is of the same family as “Origami”. In this, Kirigami, includes the cutting of paper that will be placed in specified locations which will ultimately create the 3D effect. This process does not include any glues, but rather an intricate design that will allow for the synchronized flow and movement of the pieces. The beauty of Kirigami lays in the ability of each design to eloquently evolve into any shape or form from simply opening or closing the card.
Coza Cards are all then hand assembled in a Kirigami style to create steady and beautiful designs.
